OGIS Philippines Turns One, Unveils New Office and Bold AI Vision at OGIS ONE

It was a day marked by gratitude, growth, and a bold declaration of the future.

On the morning of February 12, OGIS Philippines formally unveiled its new office at the 5th Floor of the Insular Life Building along Ayala Avenue, Makati City. By evening, the celebration continued upstairs at the Insular Ballroom for OGIS ONE, the company’s first anniversary celebration—an elegant dinner gathering of executives, team members, clients, and partners.

More than a double celebration, the occasion signified a defining milestone: the crystallization of OGIS Philippines’ identity as a Japanese-Filipino technology company poised for regional and global impact.

A New Home, A Renewed Commitment

The day began with a solemn office blessing officiated by Rev. Fr. Rolvin D’Mello at OGIS Philippines’ new headquarters. The ceremony was attended by the company’s leadership team, including: Sakiyo Fukuoka (President), Kerwin Malabanan (Managing Director), Kenichi Tsujikawa (Chief Administrative Officer), Yoshida Takamitsu (Chief Strategic Officer), and visiting executive from OGIS-RI, Omizu Yuki.

Business unit heads and select members of the 470-strong team were also present to witness the blessing—an important symbolic step as the organization moves into its next chapter.

The new Makati office stands as a testament to OGIS Philippines’ rapid growth and expanding footprint. In just one year, the company has delivered over 500 projects across industries and territories, serving a diverse portfolio of clients with business-driven technology solutions.

OGIS ONE: A Celebration of Growth and Gratitude

As evening fell, the Insular Ballroom transformed into a space of celebration and reflection for OGIS ONE, the company’s first anniversary dinner party.

The event gathered OGIS Philippines executives, including visiting Treasurer Masayuki Ito from Japan, alongside leadership teams from key clients and partners. It marked the first time the organization formally brought together its broader ecosystem for a milestone celebration.

A special video greeting from executives of OGIS-RI was played during the program, reinforcing the strong ties between the Philippine operations and its Japanese roots.

Entertainment was provided by Princess Velasco, widely known as the Philippines’ Acoustic Princess. She energized the room, effortlessly engaging the audience and turning the formal dinner into a vibrant celebration.

A Year of Measurable Success

speech
In her keynote address, President Sakiyo Fukuoka reflected on OGIS Philippines’ remarkable first year.

The numbers spoke clearly: Revenue growth, profit growth, team expansion to 470 professionals, and over 500 projects delivered across industries and markets.

Beyond financial performance, she highlighted the launch of IGNITE Philippines, an initiative celebrating and developing the immense talent of Filipino students.

She reiterated the three core drivers behind OGIS Philippines’ first year: Business-Driven Consulting, Compliance and Governance, and Team Unity.

At the heart of the organization, she emphasized, is the fusion of Japanese discipline and Filipino passion—a combination that defines the OGIS Philippines identity.

The AI Shift: From Hype to Real Business Value

Looking ahead to 2026, Saki-san laid down an ambitious vision: OGIS Philippines aims to become the number one AI-driven business solutions provider—not just in the Philippines, but across ASEAN and the global stage.

Yet her message was clear: this is not about chasing trends.

Today, many of our customers are just trying to find their footing with AI. The market is moving fast. New tools appear almost every day. There is excitement—but also confusion. And that is exactly where OGIS Philippines comes in.

We do not believe in AI for the sake of AI. We do not believe in hype, or buzzwords. What we believe in is real business value.

We want to be your partner in clarifying your AI journey—helping you understand what matters, what works, and what truly fits your business. We are at the forefront of what is happening in AI—but more importantly, we know how to translate innovation into practical action.

This year and beyond, we will come to you with one clear intention: to help you navigate this AI Shift.

— Sakiyo Fukuoka, President, OGIS Philippines

It was a defining statement—positioning OGIS Philippines not just as a technology implementer, but as a trusted guide in an era of transformation.

A Cultural Fusion, A Shared Future

Managing Director Kerwin Malabanan closed the evening with a powerful metaphor that captured the company’s identity.

Echoing the theme of Japanese-Filipino fusion, he referenced two iconic artworks: the Bayanihan by Filipino National Artist Carlos Botong Francisco and The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Japanese master Katsushika Hokusai.

Kerwin Malabanan
Two works. Two cultures. Two different eras. Yet together, they symbolize strength, resilience, unity, and motion.

Two different works of art from two very different artists, from two very different times. Two artworks that represent the very best of two cultures.

Today they combine to represent one profound hope for OGIS Philippines; the realization and crystallization of one shared culture.

Tonight on our 1st Year Anniversary, we are extremely proud to have shared this with you. And we look forward in the coming months and years to live this very culture with you.

— Kerwin Malabanan, Managing Director, OGIS Philippines

The speech culminated in a ceremonial toast led by President Fukuoka and joined by the executive team—a symbolic moment of unity and forward momentum.

Only the Beginning

February 12, 2026, was not just an anniversary. It was a declaration.

  • A declaration that OGIS Philippines has laid strong foundations.
  • A declaration that its Japanese-Filipino culture is its competitive edge.
  • A declaration that its future will be driven by AI—but grounded in business impact.

From a blessed new office in Makati to a ballroom filled with partners and friends, OGIS Philippines celebrated not only what it has achieved in one year—but what it is becoming.

And if OGIS ONE was any indication, this is only the beginning.

The milestones will grow bigger.
The impact will deepen.
And the celebrations will only become grander.
